Top Ukrainian agricultural companies earned almost 20 billion UAH in profit

The total income of agricultural companies in the 2025 Index grew 1.7 times over the past year. It reached 146.16 billion UAH, compared to only 86.5 billion UAH in the 2024 Index. Also, all market leaders made a profit, with a total of 19.92 billion UAH.

More than half of the top companies belong to the financial and industrial group “MHP” owned by Yuriy Kosiuk. Businesses within the MHP group account for 71% of the total revenue and 67% of the overall profit of the industry leaders.

Vinnytsia Poultry Factory topped the ranking — its income makes up a third of all earnings among companies in the Index. Last year, its revenue rose by 27% to 49.7 billion UAH, while its profit grew even more — by 6.5 times, reaching 4.02 billion UAH.

Myronivska Poultry Factory came second. It increased its revenue by 17% to 24.97 billion UAH, and its profit more than doubled — growing 2.3 times to 3.12 billion UAH.

In third place by profit growth is Lebedyn Seed Plant, part of the LNZ Group. Its revenue rose 19% to 18.7 billion UAH, but its profit skyrocketed 43 times, reaching 143 million UAH — the highest growth among all leading companies.

Zernoproduct MHP earned 9.98 billion UAH in revenue, showing the largest revenue increase in the Index — almost 2 times more than the previous year. After a difficult 2023 with losses, the company posted a profit of 2.43 billion UAH last year.

Enselco Agro, part of the Kernel group owned by Andriy Verevskyi, became the most profitable company but ranked 5th in revenue. It increased its profit nearly 4 times to 4.22 billion UAH, while its revenue rose by just one-third to 9.67 billion UAH.

Another Kernel company, Druzhba-Nova, followed next. Overall, Kernel businesses account for 30% of the top 10 profits. Druzhba-Nova grew its revenue by 9% to 8.16 billion UAH and made a 1.88 billion UAH profit — a big turnaround from 1.81 billion UAH in losses in 2023.

Also included in the Index:

• NVF Urozhai (MHP) — 6.84 billion UAH in revenue and 1.77 billion UAH in profit;
• Starynska Poultry Factory (MHP) — 6.74 billion UAH in revenue and 1.12 billion UAH in profit;
• PK Dniprovskiy (agroholding of Oleksandr Ryazanov) — 5.81 billion UAH in revenue and 365 million UAH in profit;
• Oril-Leader (MHP) — 5.58 billion UAH in revenue and 840 million UAH in profit.

At the same time, the past year was difficult for the business of Poroshenko Jr.: two of his companies lost their positions and dropped out of the Index — PK Podillia and PK Zoria Podillia, which had a combined revenue of 9.89 billion UAH. Zakhidnyi Buh, with 5.5 billion UAH in revenue, also did not make it into the Index.
