The service generates summaries of court documents in seconds and translates them into simple, easy-to-understand language

Opendatabot has launched a new AI-powered tool that creates short summaries of court documents. Registered users can get a summary of the document and key case details in just a few seconds. The tool makes it easier to understand long and complex texts written in legal language.
The AI assistant analyzes a court case and generates a summary in just a few seconds. The summary includes: the parties involved, case background, facts, legal issues, party positions, court proceedings, reasoning, and the final decision.
The new tool is available in the Babusia court decision search service. To use it, simply open any court document and click on the “AI analysis of the court document” section. This function is available to all registered users.
This feature helps users quickly understand large, complex cases and can be used for meeting prep or presentations. It will be especially helpful for lawyers, legal professionals, and journalists who work with court statistics.
These kinds of tools are already a reality — and they are transforming legal work. The Babusia service doesn’t just save time by offering faster access to court decisions (unlike the official state registry), it revolutionizes document analysis. It’s a real breakthrough for presenting a case to a client. In just seconds, the system analyzes dozens of pages and provides a clear summary: case participants, the dispute’s core, key facts, legal questions, court reasoning, and the final decision. Instead of hours of reading — minutes of understanding.
— says Denys Lykhopiok, lawyer, insolvency practitioner, and member of the Qualification Commission for Insolvency Practitioners.
The team behind the service keeps working to make legal cases and data easier to understand for Ukrainians. That’s why we constantly update our tools based on what users are looking for.
With access to powerful data, we can create truly useful AI-based solutions. The Court Decision Summary tool does in seconds what usually takes hours of human work — and without losing meaning. The AI assistant explains the core of a court document in plain language and keeps the context, making legal information more accessible for both everyday citizens and professionals who work with large volumes of court decisions daily,
— says Denys Popov, legal engineer at Opendatabot, lawyer, and insolvency practitioner.
