Every fifth businessman in Ukraine earns at least UAH 10 million annually

There are currently 74,000 businessmen in Ukraine with annual доходи від 10 млн грн who submit their financial reports on time. The vast majority — 72% — are men. The top three richest businessmen in Ukraine include Rinat Akhmetov, Vitaliy Antonov, and Andriy Verevskyi. Nearly a quarter of these businessmen are registered in Kyiv.
There are currently 74,000 businessmen in Ukraine whose companies generate at least UAH 10 million in annual revenue. This represents one-fifth of all company owners who submitted annual financial reports — a total of 360,000 businessmen. Only 28% of them are women.

The ranking has grown over the year: 9,122 participants dropped out, while 15,450 were added. The net increase amounted to 6,328 businessmen. Positions have also shifted — only 21 participants retained their previous ranks. At the same time, 37% of businessmen moved up in the ranking, while 42% lost positions.
Nearly a quarter of all businessmen are registered in Kyiv — 16,230 individuals. It is followed by the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast (7,204 businessmen) and the Lviv Oblast (5,878). Together, these three regions account for about 40% of the country’s large business sector.
Most operate in the “mid-range” segment of large business: 79% generate revenue between UAH 10 million and 100 million. Another 19% earn between UAH 100 million and 1 billion, and only 2% are true giants with turnover exceeding UAH 1 billion.

The “entry ticket” to the top 100 richest businessmen in Ukraine rose to UAH 9.96 billion in 2025 — 11% higher than in 2024. To make it into the top 1,000, a company must generate at least UAH 1.5 billion in revenue.
Since the publication of the 2025 ranking, the list has been updated due to revised financial reporting, and the top ten has changed accordingly.

The absolute leader remains Rinat Akhmetov, whose companies generated over UAH 843 billion in revenue. Second and third places are held by Vitaliy Antonov (UAH 164 billion) and Andriy Verevskyi (UAH 149.7 billion). The top ten also includes Yuriy Kosiuk, Volodymyr Kostelman, Oleksii Poroshenko, and Dmytro Firtash. The only woman in the top 10 is Svitlana Ivakhiv, who closes the ranking with revenue of about UAH 46.9 billion.
Among the top 100, 69 business owners are registered in Ukraine. The list also includes representatives from Cyprus (7%), United States and United Kingdom (5% each), Switzerland (4%), and other countries, including United Arab Emirates, Germany, and Monaco.
The starting point for the ranking is annual revenue of UAH 10+ million. This is the threshold where the simplified tax system no longer applies, and a business typically becomes more structured, with full reporting and taxation. As financial statements are updated, the list may change.
