How much money did the three largest funds raise last year?

People donated 18.75 billion hryvnias to the three largest funds last year. This amount is almost half as much as in 2022. Donations increased in the second half of the year. Record amounts of collections were recorded at the end of the year on several platforms, according to data from United 24, Come Back Alive, and the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation.
For comparison, in 2022, the total amount of donations reached a record 34.38 billion UAH.

United 24 became the leader among charitable organizations in 2023. The fund managed to attract almost two-thirds of the total amount—12.07 billion hryvnias. The peak of donations occurred in December of last year—3.55 billion hryvnias, or 29%. This is a record amount for the month since the fund was established.
United 24 works on 5 main areas:
— Support for the Armed Forces—10.81 billion hryvnias (90%); — Healthcare—0.76 billion hryvnias (6%); — Reconstruction of destroyed property and infrastructure—0.25 billion hryvnias (2%); — Humanitarian demining—0.13 billion hryvnias (1%); — Education and science—0.12 billion hryvnias (1%).
For Come Back Alive, December was also significant because it was when the fund collected 20% of all the savings for the year—0.9 billion hryvnias. Meanwhile, the fund’s share of all donations collected with colleagues amounts to 24%—4.53 billion hryvnias.
In total, 11% of the entire accumulated amount goes to the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation. The organization raised 2.14 billion hryvnias last year, with the highest amount coming in October—0.31 billion hryvnias.
