The number of proceedings initiated by the Tax Service against businesses has increased by 35% since the start of the full-scale war

25,035 enforcement proceedings against companies were opened by the Tax Service this year. This is 1.7% less than last year, but 35% more than before the full-scale war.

Every fourth proceeding against a business this year was opened in Kyiv — 5,757 cases initiated by the Tax Service. Dnipropetrovsk region is close behind with 4,738 proceedings. Kyiv region ranks third with 1,467 proceedings.

The Tax Service opened the largest number of proceedings against businesses in wholesale trade — 5,380 cases. Second place is agriculture and hunting with 2,092 proceedings. This is followed by the construction sector — 1,910 cases.

The company with the highest number of proceedings opened by the Tax Service is Pryvatne Pidpryiemstvo Derevtekhsservice — 29 cases. It is followed by Kravbud (22 cases), the editorial office of the city newspaper "Kremin" (20 cases), and the football club Kryvbas (17 cases).

Please note that not all proceedings are visible now — some have already been paid off and therefore disappeared from the list. If we look only at active proceedings — meaning cases that were opened a long time ago but are still not closed — the clear leader is Myrhorod Grain Products Plant No.1, with 79 active cases. It is followed by Kvarsyt (40) and Lers (39).

Overall, the largest number of active proceedings is currently in Kyiv (4,157), Dnipropetrovsk region (3,931), and Kharkiv region (1,418).
