Only about one third of active companies in the country have submitted their financial reports
6 March 2026
Nearly half a million financial reports for the previous year were submitted on time by Ukrainian businesses. This represents 30% of the 1,374,026 companies registered in the country as of the end of last year.
Year by year, fewer companies are submitting financial reports on time. This is likely related to the fact that the obligation to submit reports was cancelled at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. However, even after liability for submitting these reports was reinstated, the situation did not improve: 412,055 reports have been submitted so far — 4% fewer than last year.
«Financial reporting is not just a formality, but the foundation of transparent business. It allows partners, clients, and the businesses themselves to see the real condition of a company, its position in the market, and its potential for growth. Data transparency builds trust and creates new opportunities for cooperation — and this is far more important than any penalties for failing to submit reports»,
— commented Opendatabot CEO Oleksii Ivankin.
