In 2024, foreign companies filed 2,573 trademark applications in Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian National Office of Intellectual Property and Innovation (UKRNOIVI). 40%+ of applications came from businesses in the U.S., Cyprus, and Switzerland. The majority of these companies operate in: Pharmaceuticals & veterinary products, Advertising & administration.
In 2024, around 2,500 trademark applications were filed in Ukraine—37% less than before the full-scale war, when over 4,000 applications were submitted.

Foreign businesses actively applied for trademark registration in Ukraine. The top three countries by the number of applications: USA — 18.4% of all applications, Switzerland — 12.5%, Cyprus — 9.7%. Companies from China, the UK, and Poland also submitted a significant number of applications.
