A quick fix for everyone tired of entering payment details manually

Utility bills, kindergarten or school fees, internet payments, or online store invoices — we all face situations when we need to pay using IBAN details. Usually, it’s a hassle: you open the invoice, copy the data, manually enter it in your banking app… or take screenshots so you don’t forget the numbers. Then come typos, invalid accounts, or mistaken payments. Opendatabot is launching a free QR IBAN service that makes this process much easier. Now, you just need to upload a photo or screenshot — and the system will generate a secure QR code that instantly opens your bank’s payment page.
QR IBAN reads data from invoices or messages and turns them into a QR code. The code takes you directly to the payment form in your banking app — no need to type in the IBAN, EDRPOU, or other details manually.
Paying by QR code isn’t new, but until recently, each bank or financial institution generated its own format. This made it hard — and sometimes impossible — to pay from another bank. Now, the National Bank of Ukraine has introduced a single standard for such codes, making online payments faster and safer, while Opendatabot’s verification helps eliminate errors when entering payment details.
For example, if you receive a paper invoice or a screenshot in a messenger, you can simply upload it to the service. The system will read the details, verify them in state registers, and generate a QR code for payment. This reduces the risk of mistakes and helps prevent transfers to scammers.
For businesses, the service offers QR code generation for clients and the option to automate the process through an API or CRM integration.
A business or seller can enter their payment details in the service and get a QR code that the customer scans to go straight to the payment form in their bank app.
If a customer has a paper invoice or a message with payment details, they can simply upload a photo or screenshot — the service will recognize the data and generate a QR code for payment.
Using a QR code for payments reduces mistakes. While creating the code, the system checks the recipient’s data in official state registers — verifying that the company or entrepreneur exists and that the IBAN is valid. This also helps lower the risk of sending money to scammers.
A key advantage of paying via QR code is that you don’t need to enter your card or bank details. You confirm the payment only in your banking app — the system simply helps you get to that step.
Opendatabot does not store or process your financial information. Before confirming the payment, you see all details — the recipient, amount, and payment purpose. The transaction happens directly between your bank and the recipient’s bank.
