Which companies were included in the Opendatabot Index?

The combined income of the top 10 companies in the agricultural sector increased by 35% last year according to the Opendatabot Index. The market leaders earned almost 90 billion hryvnias. Companies from the group of Yuriy Kosiuk's MHP, Andriy Verevskyi's Kernel, and Oleksiy Poroshenko's Ukrprominvest group made it to the Index. The latter recorded the highest profits among all businesses on the list.
Top 10 Ukrainian agricultural producers earned 86.57 billion hryvnias last year according to the Opendatabot Index. This is one-third more than their earnings in 2022 and nearly one and a half times more than before the full-scale invasion.
46% of the total income of the top companies is accounted for by 4 companies engaged in poultry farming.
The leader of the top is Myronivska Poultry Farm with a revenue of 21.43 billion UAH. It is one of the three companies of Yuriy Kosyuk’s MHP group. The income of this company increased by 1.5 times compared to the first year of the full-scale.
Overall, the total income of 3 companies of the MHP group amounted to 34.32 billion UAH — almost half or 40% of the total income of the agricultural leaders.
The second place is held by Lebedyn Seed Plant of the LNZ Group of companies owned by Dmytro Kravchenko. Last year, the enterprise increased its income by 17%. The share of this company in the total income of the top 10 is 18%.
Two companies of the Kernel group earned 14.71 billion UAH last year. This is 27% more than in 2022. Their share of income in the total income of the top 10 is 17%.
After a year-long break, the company Zoria Podillia of the Ukrprominvest group returned to the top, increasing its income by 1.5 times. Overall, two companies of the Ukrprominvest group made it to the Index of agricultural leaders, earning 11.35 billion UAH — 13% of the total income of the top 10.
Two new companies also entered the 2024 Index — Poultry Complex Dniprovsky, owned by Oleksandr and Yuliia Ryazanov, and the company Western Bug. These enterprises managed to increase their earnings by a third and a quarter respectively.

Three companies from the MHP group exited the top 10 during the second year of full-scale war. Last year’s leader, Vinnytsia Poultry Farm, changed its main type of economic activity and entered the top 10 companies in the processing industry instead. Additionally, Grain Product MHP and NVF Urozhay, whose income decreased by 36% and 49% respectively in 2023, also left the index.
Another company, part of the VITAGRO group — Agricultural Company 2004, also left the index. Its income decreased by only 1% compared to 2022.
