Top construction companies increased their revenue by 41%

The total revenue of the leading construction companies reached 49.49 billion UAH in 2025, according to the Opendatabot Index. This is 41% more than in 2023. The top three companies have stayed almost the same for the past three years. Last year, 9 of the top companies managed to make a profit. Half of the companies in the top list are involved in building roads and highways.

The top ten companies in the construction sector earned over UAH 49 billion in revenue according to the 2025 Opendatabot Index. This is 41% more than in 2023. The total profit of the top companies grew 1.6 times — reaching 3.09 billion UAH.

The largest share of revenue (75% or 36.9 billion UAH) came from 5 companies that specialize in road construction. Four more companies build residential and commercial buildings — their share is smaller: 20% of total revenue. One company in the ranking works in a niche area — exploratory drilling.

For the third year in a row, the top 3 leaders in the construction index have remained nearly the same. The absolute leader is Avtomagistral-Pivden from Odesa, owned by Oleksandr Boiko. In 2024, the company earned 13.2 billion UAH (27% of the total revenue of the top 10), which is 1.6 times more than in 2023. The profit was a record — 1.36 billion UAH.

Second place goes to Avtostrada from Vinnytsia, owned by Maksym Shkil. The company earned 10.8 billion UAH (+30%) and increased its profit 1.6 times — to 74.6 million UAH.

The company notes that Avtostrada is among the top 10 largest donors to Ukraine’s Defense Forces, having contributed over 2.1 billion UAH since the start of the full-scale war. It actively participates in rebuilding critical infrastructure, including water pipelines and energy facilities. It is also one of the biggest taxpayers in the construction sector.

Third place goes to Rostdorstroy from Odesa (owned by Yevhen Konovalov and Yurii Shumakher). The company increased its revenue by 15%, reaching 6.85 billion UAH. However, its profit decreased by a quarter.

Onur Construction International from Lviv (owned by Turkish businessmen Cetinceviz Onur and Ihsan) moved up to fourth place. Its revenue grew by 30% to ₴3.82 billion, and profit almost tripled to ₴418 million.

Fifth place goes to a newcomer in the Index — Atelier de France Kyiv, a company specializing in restoring architectural monuments. Its revenue increased 6.4 times to ₴2.9 billion, and profit tripled to ₴44 million. The owner is Frenchman Antoine Philippe Marie Courtois.

Ferrostroy from Poltava region returned to the Index after a one-year break, growing its revenue 1.7 times to ₴2.62 billion and profit 2.6 times to ₴298 million. The company focuses on building construction.

Kosul (part of Rinat Akhmetov’s SCM group) dropped to 7th place, with a revenue decline of 25% to ₴2.6 billion and a loss of 4 positions in the ranking. However, its profit grew by 8% to ₴758.8 million. This company accounts for a quarter of the total profit earned by the top ten.

Kyiv Energy Construction Company, owned by Volodymyr Vypyraylo, showed the highest profit growth — 8.8 times more, reaching ₴16.9 million, although its revenue dropped by 6% to ₴2.3 billion.

Techno-Bud-Center (owned by Andriy Yarema and Yuriy Khanin) is another newcomer. Its revenue grew 1.6 times to ₴2.2 billion, and profit increased 1.5 times to ₴26 million.

Vesta-I, which got a new owner in March 2025 — Tajik citizen Karimi Asolat Ismatzoda — showed a fourfold increase in revenue (₴2.2 billion). However, instead of profit, it ended the year with a loss of ₴1.9 million.

Who dropped out of the Index?

In 2025, the following companies left the ranking:

  • Solagro — the company changed its type of activity.

  • Pryrodni Resursy (owned by the Pinchuk family) — revenue dropped by 15%, but profit increased to ₴656 million.

  • Kyivmiskbud — revenue halved to ₴904 million, but the company finally became profitable.

  • Monolit Budservice — figures remained almost unchanged over the year, but stability wasn’t enough to stay in this year’s top 10.

  • Ukrhydroenerhobud — despite revenue growth to ₴2.03 billion, the company ended the year with a loss of ₴61 million.
