61% of the companies in the OpenDataBot Index are based in Kyiv

61% of the companies in this year’s Opendatabot Index are registered in Kyiv. The share of Kyiv-based companies has been growing every year. At the top of the list is D.Trading, with a turnover of UAH 215.8 billion — the highest among Kyiv companies. Most Kyiv companies in the Opendatabot Index work in the telecommunications sector.
The Opendatabot Index is an annual ranking of the 210 best companies in Ukraine, created since 2023. The share of Kyiv-based companies in the Index has been growing for the third year in a row. In 2023, there were 124 companies from Kyiv (59% of the total), and in 2025 — already 129 companies, or 61.4%.
The top ten Kyiv-based companies by revenue in 2025 include well-known giants. D.Trading leads with annual revenue of over 215 billion UAH. It is followed by Energoatom (207 billion UAH), Naftogaz of Ukraine (157 billion UAH), and the Gas Supply Company Naftogaz Trading (124 billion UAH). The list also includes PrivatBank, Ukrnafta, Ukrzaliznytsia, Ukrenergo, Ukrgazvydobuvannya, and Silpo-Food.

It’s worth noting that the top 10 list hasn’t changed since 2024. However, compared to 2023, there have been some shifts: back then, Kernel-Trade was in the top 10, while Ukrzaliznytsia was not among the leaders — now it holds the 7th spot.
Most Kyiv-based companies in the Opendatabot Index work in telecommunications, banking, and the gambling industry — 10 companies in each sector. Another 9 Kyiv companies operate in television, radio, and book publishing.
Also, for the first time, professional, scientific, and technical activities entered the top five industries (with 9 companies), replacing the transport and postal sector, which was among the leaders in 2023.
