For the first time since the full-scale war began, none of the top retailers reported losses

The total revenue of the leading companies in the 2025 Opendatabot Retail Index reached ₴529.24 billion. None of the top 10 companies reported losses, and their combined revenue grew by 17%. For the third year in a row, ATB-Market remains the leader.
Retail companies in the 2025 Opendatabot Index saw their total revenue grow by 17% last year, reaching ₴529.24 billion. For the first time since the full-scale war began, none of the top 10 companies recorded losses. The total profit of Ukraine’s top retailers amounted to ₴9.82 billion.
ATB-Market has remained the top revenue-generating retailer for three consecutive years. Last year, its revenue grew by 15% to ₴208.9 billion, making up 39.5% of the total revenue of all top retailers. However, in terms of profit, the chain ranked second, reporting ₴3.1 billion, or 32% of the total profit.
ATB reported that its corporate entities paid a total of ₴28.61 billion in taxes and fees last year, exceeding the previous year’s financial results by ₴4 billion. The company plans to continue increasing its tax contributions to Ukraine’s economy while supporting both frontline defenders and civilians in the rear.
The most profitable retailer was Vyhidna Pokupka / Aurora, with a profit of ₴4.08 billion. In terms of revenue, the company ranked third, increasing its earnings 1.4 times in a year to ₴37.9 billion. Last year, it shifted its business model from wholesale to retail.
Aurora emphasized that 2024 was a year of supporting Ukraine’s economy and creating new jobs. The company opened over 300 new stores, generating nearly 3,000 jobs. Its network expanded to 1,615 stores in Ukraine and 30 in Romania.
The second-largest revenue earner was Silpo-Food / Silpo, with ₴93 billion in revenue—a 10% increase. After three consecutive years of losses, the chain finally reported a profit of ₴205 million.
Fora increased its revenue by 19% to ₴34.9 billion, while its profit grew more than fivefold to ₴123.5 million. However, this year the company fell behind Aurora, ranking fourth.
Rozetka.UA / Rozetka saw 17% revenue growth, allowing it to climb from 7th to 5th place, with a total revenue of ₴29.7 billion.
Novus Ukraine / NOVUS Increased Revenue by 23% to UAH 29 Billion, with a Profit of UAH 561 Million.

Metro Cash & Carry Ukraine / Metro Increased Revenue to UAH 28.7 Billion (+12.5%)
For the first time since the start of the full-scale war, the chain reported a profit of UAH 178 million. Previously, the company had suffered losses exceeding UAH 400 million for two consecutive years.

Some companies, such as Epicenter K / Epicenter (for the second year in a row) and Comfy Trade / Comfy (for the first time), were not included in the Opendatabot Index due to failure to submit their annual reports on time.
