Sports and entertainment companies from the 2025 Opennadatabot Index increased their income by 10%

These companies earned a total of 3.47 billion UAH in revenue. But only 3 of them actually made a profit. The top earner was FC Dynamo Kyiv with 913.65 million UAH in revenue — but even with that, the team had a loss of 784.07 million UAH.

The total income of companies in the 2025 Opennadatabot Index for the “sports and entertainment” category grew by 10% — reaching 3.47 billion UAH. But despite this growth, only 3 companies made a profit of 6.49 million UAH, while the rest had total losses of 1.11 billion UAH.

The top 10 list includes 5 football clubs, 2 gym chains, and 2 leisure and entertainment centers.

FC Dynamo Kyiv’s income dropped 1.7 times, but the club still took first place in the ranking. The club, owned by the Surkis brothers’ group, earned 913.65 million UAH last year. However, it ended up with a loss of 784.07 million UAH. For comparison, in 2023, Dynamo had a profit of 345.67 million UAH.

Second and third place went to companies linked to the Sport Life fitness chain. Sport Life Kyiv-1 (owned by Tetiana Podrezova) and Sport Life Kyiv-6 (owned by Larysa Pakhomova) increased their revenue by 1.5 times to ₴545.8 million and ₴377.56 million, respectively. However, their profits grew unevenly: 15 times to ₴1.03 million for Kyiv-1 and 2 times to ₴2.2 million for Kyiv-6.

FC Kryvbas took 4th place with ₴287.12 million in revenue — 1.6 times more than in 2023. Over the year, the club managed to reduce its losses by 3.4 times to ₴1.1 million.

Thermal Furdo (Kosyno thermal waters) closed the top 5. Its revenue dropped by 16% to ₴272.76 million, but losses also shrank 8 times compared to 2023 — down to ₴6.47 million.

In 6th place — and for the first time in the Index — is FC Polissia from Zhytomyr region, owned by Hennadiy Butkevych, co-owner of ATB. The club’s income grew 4 times to 266.8 million UAH. However, its losses also almost doubled — reaching 256 million UAH.

In 7th place is the Apollo Next fitness club chain, owned by Fozzy Group CEO Volodymyr Kostelman. The company’s income doubled to 234 million UAH, but it recorded a loss of 6.9 million UAH. In contrast, 2023 was profitable, with a net gain of 12 million UAH.

Next in the ranking is the entertainment center Neopolis, owned by Vitalii Khomutynnik and located in the Respublika Park mall in Kyiv. Its revenue grew by 24% to ₴197.51 million. The company also reduced its losses by 14%, down to ₴46.96 million.

Following is the LNZ Football Club from Cherkasy, part of the LNZ Group. Its revenue was ₴188.64 million — 6.4 times more than in 2023. It earned a profit of ₴3.27 million, making it the only football club in the ranking to turn a profit.

Shakhtar-Service, owned by Rinat Akhmetov, closes the top 10 with ₴182 million in revenue and losses down 3.3 times compared to 2023 — ₴7.4 million.

This year, the following companies dropped out of the Index:

  • SC Dnipro-1 — ₴34.55 million in revenue (12.7 times less than in 2023);
  • SC Prometey — ₴80.94 million (1.5 times less);
  • Nasvit LLC — ₴131.73 million (1.6 times less).
