1,549 sole proprietors are registered under a single number

Currently, there are 3,368 mass phone numbers used for registering sole proprietors in Ukraine. The absolute record holder is linked to 1,549 sole proprietors. The second most-used number is registered for 786 entrepreneurs, and the third spot belongs to a contact serving 773 sole proprietors. This means a single contact can consolidate hundreds of formally independent businesses.

Most mass numbers are used in Kyiv — 1,020, almost a third of all mass numbers. Next are Kharkiv region — 741 (22%), Kyiv region — 640 (19%), and Dnipropetrovsk region — 595 (18%). It is worth noting that the same mass number can be used in multiple regions simultaneously.

Mass phone numbers are most often used by entrepreneurs in retail — 2,013 numbers. Fewer, but still hundreds, are used in wholesale trade (963), IT (922), HoReCa (787), and real estate (617). At the same time, a single number can appear across several types of business activities.

ВIt is worth noting that 3,380 numbers are considered mass numbers both for sole proprietors and companies. These are numbers that “serve” at least 5 companies and 5 sole proprietors simultaneously.
