The Register is updated all the time: some notaries are added, and some leave. You can find, check, and choose a notary on the Notary Register page on Opendatabot. For each notary, you can check their license number, whether it’s valid, and also see how busy they are — by looking at how many official notary documents they use each year.

The highest concentration of notaries is traditionally in the capital — 1,282, meaning every fifth Ukrainian notary works in Kyiv. Next are Dnipropetrovsk region (447) and Lviv region (446), followed by Odesa region (415) and Kharkiv region (399).

Women strongly dominate the profession — 82% of all notaries. At the same time, men handle more work: women use 702 notarial forms per year, while men use 992. On average, one notary uses more than 60 forms per month.

The most overloaded specialists work in Cherkasy region, where one notary uses 1,287 forms per year. High numbers are also seen in Zhytomyr and Khmelnytskyi regions — 1,054 each, in Vinnytsia — 1,043, and in Ivano-Frankivsk — 959.

The absolute record this year belongs to a notary from Lviv region, who used 24,606 forms — about 78 forms per day if working without days off. This is the highest number in the country.
