No More Working From Home: Employees To Come Back To the Office

The pandemic failed to make it a routine for Ukrainians to work remotely: employees are getting back to offices. According to various data, between three and six percent of Ukrainian employers are currently offering remote jobs.

As reported by Work.ua and Jooble, the number of remote jobs offered in April 2020 was between seven and eight percent of the total number of jobs. It is twice as many as offered now.

At the same time, applicants are more likely to want to work remotely.

«About eight percent of individuals are seeking offline jobs, while around twenty-five percent of Work.ua job seekers say they prefer to only work remotely to minimize contacts»,

— says Karine Makian, PR Manager at Work.ua.

According to OLX, there has been an overall increase in the number of “normal” jobs offered since the beginning of summer 2021, in particular, their number rose by 25% in June. OLX.Jobs believes that it might be caused by a spike in seasonal jobs.
