Ukrainian companies' tax debt fell by UAH 25 billion over the past 12 months
The bulk of the decrease—UAH 14 billion—is due to UkrNafta partially repaying its debt.

Over the past 12 months, the tax debt of Ukrainian companies decreased by UAH 25 billion. As of February 2020, Ukrainian companies owed UAH 118 billion in taxes, and as of now, the figure is at UAH 93.2 billion.
Ukrainian companies’ aggregate tax debt (UAH 93.2 billion) includes UAH 78 billion in the national-level debt and 14 billion in the local one.
In December, UkrNafta partially repaid its debt. Over the recent years, the company was the largest tax debtor in the country. In December 2020, the company owed UAH 15.3 billion in taxes, and now its debt has shrunk to UAH 6.4 million.
