One day saw more deaths from coronavirus than the entire July

According to the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, 614 people died from coronavirus on October 21. It is more than coronavirus deaths in July when 599 people died.

According to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, 94.2% of patients that arrived at hospitals with COVID-19 were not vaccinated. Vaccination can stop the epidemic. About 17% of people have been vaccinated in Ukraine—namely, 8,373,550, out of whom 6,743,615 have administered two doses.

As of October 22, COVID-19 claimed the lives of 63,003 Ukrainians since the start of the pandemic, according to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
