Overall mortality also rose this month. In October, 59,047 people died in Ukraine, which is 18% more than in the corresponding period of 2019.

Since the State Statistics Service publishes mortality information with a delay of two months, Ukrainians cannot objectively evaluate the extent of the problem. We will update the data as soon as the Statistics Service publishes the mortality rates.
