What destinations are the most popular in Ukraine?

The first month of summer saw a notable revival of domestic tourism. According to the statistics by Ukrzaliznytsia, this June, they sold four times more train tickets to in-demand destinations than in May.
However, the current number is still 40% less than in June 2019.
From January to July 2021, Ukrainians bought 19,524,973 tickets: it is one and a half times more than last year when the total number of sold tickets was 12,310,268.

According to RailwayBot, Kyiv—Ivano-Frankivsk is the most popular route in 2021. According to the results of 2019, it took fifth place, while in 2020, it did not even make it into the top five. The top five of the first half of 2021 includes the following routes:
Kyiv — Ivano-Frankivsk (15% of the total number of purchased tickets)
Kyiv — Lviv (14%)
Dnipro — Kyiv (14%)
Lviv — Kyiv (12%)
Kyiv — Kharkiv (11%)
Mostly, Ukrainians buy tickets on Wednesday and Thursday. The most popular seats are traditionally from 13th to 18th, while the most popular train car numbers are 4th and 3rd.
