2.6 billion UAH in revenue was earned last year by a company under NSDC sanctions

Most of the companies were added to the sanctions list following a series of updates in 2024. As a result, the number of such businesses has nearly tripled this year, increasing by 119 companies. In contrast, the smallest addition to the sanctions list occurred in 2023, with only 10 companies (5.4%) added.

Half of the total number of companies will remain under sanctions until 2027. Another 19.4%, or 36 businesses, will not be released from restrictions before 2034. Meanwhile, 15.1%, or 28 companies, are under indefinite sanctions.

Among these businesses, the largest group consists of wholesale trade companies, excluding the trade of motor vehicles and motorcycles—61 companies (33.2%). Another 10.3%, or 19 enterprises, are engaged in specialized construction activities.

The top three industries also include film production and building construction, with 7 companies each, representing 3.8%.

The largest number of businesses under sanctions is in Kyiv — a total of 102. There are significantly fewer companies in the Odessa region — 17 or 9.2%. Lviv region also ranks high with 13 companies or 7.1%.

The top three businesses under sanctions by income in 2023 are:

• Parimatch — 2.6 billion UAH
• Colden Funds — 223 million UAH
• High Voltage Union-RZVA — 120 million UAH

To be removed from the sanctions list, a company must either have a corresponding decision signed by the President of Ukraine or if the sanction period has expired and not been renewed. The most profitable businesses that have already been removed from the sanctions list include:

• M.S.L. — 346 million UAH
• Patriot — 4.8 million UAH
• FOSAGRO-Ukraine — 4.7 million UAH
